Best crop sensor camera period.
This camera is a tank. It does everything and more. You wont even need a full sensor camera after using this, unless your getting in to some really heavy shooting. It does everything i need it to and more.

The 7D is a very competent piece of gear
From a pro photographer's point of view, portrait work is all about light, color, and trapping that special expression. I have used Nikon extensively over the years,and it is certainly good. But with the 7D, the color and nuanced shading in the highlights
